The Patterson Trust is offering a scholarship to a doctor practising in New Zealand to assist with the cost of undertaking postgraduate training in aviation medicine.
The value of the scholarship is $4000 and may be offered, at the discretion of the Trustees, once every year.
Applicants should apply in writing to the Trustees attaching a curriculum vitae and supporting references, along with their reasons for wishing to pursue the study. Applications for this year close on 1 August 2009.
The decision of the Trustees will be influenced by a range of considerations which may include aptitude, academic record and potential, commitment to aviation and aviation medicine, and planned location of practice.
