Dr Dennis Louis Pezaro was honoured becoming a Member of the Order
of New Zealand (MONZ) in the New Year's Honours for 2007.
Dennis has been a general practitioner in Wanaka with a strong
interest in aviation medicine for many years. He was a DME for
many years before becoming an AMA and more recently a medical
examiner for the Civil Aviation Authority. A long time member
of this society, he served on the committee for some years during
the 1990s.
Dennis was also very active in the NZ Medical Association,
representing general practice in particular. He was a member
of Council and President in 199x.
He is honoured for his services to community health.
