Membership of the Society

Those who live in New Zealand or overseas (other than in Australia), and wish to join AMSANZ-New Zealand, should forward their completed membership form to the Treasurer (click on 'Contacts' in the left hand pane for details).  Click here for a membership application form.

Full membership of the Society is open to medical practitioners who are able to be registered in New Zealand and who have an interest in aviation medicine. Overseas doctors are welcome, particularly if serving as Medical Examiners for CAA.

Associate membership is available to anyone who is not a registered (or registerable) medical practitioner, but who has an involvement or interest in aviation or aviation medicine and who supports the aims of the Society.

The subscription for the AMSANZ-New Zealand is $100.00 per year (in NZ dollars).

The subscription year is from 1 April to 31 March. Those accepted for membership and joining AMSANZ-New Zealand between 1 January and 31 March in any year pay only one subscription to cover the period from the date of joining through until 31 March in the following year.

The New Zealand banking system can accept personal cheques in an overseas currency and give credit in accordance with the exchange rate on the day, but it is preferable to send a bank draft in New Zealand currency.
